Confirmed headliners: THE MASONICS (Friday), GRAHAM DAY & THE FOREFATHERS (Saturday) plus LORD ROCHESTER and The WILDEBEESTS as co-headliners, plus special guests to be confirmed, but will include GALILEO 7, The SINE WAVES, Ye ASCOYNE d’ASCOYNES and The JEZEBELS.

Dabadaba was selected as it is San Sebastian’s closest relative to the legendary MIC Club in Chatham, where the Milkshakes, Prisoners & co played regularly throughout 1982 and 1983. Similar in size, tickets are strictly limited to just 220 per night so please book early.

San Sebastian, with a proud Basque heritage, is one of the foodie capitals of the world. A beautiful, laid back but buzzing town with a river, two beaches, several record shops, and some of the world’s best drinking & eating establishments, it is the European home of one of Australia’s finest bars, the accliamed GERALD’S BAR. Bar owner Gerald Diffey is a Medway native and is bringing its Rock & Roll and Rhythmn & Beat finest to town.

Special DJs will keep the pace going with Medway’s finest sons, daughters & their influences (The Kinks, Chuck, Bo & Beatles, of course)

The third Brands Hatch Mini Festival will switch the focus onto the track on Sunday 11 May, providing a feast of door-handle-to-door-handle racing from the UK’s favourite little car on the Indy circuit.

The Power Maxed MINI Challenge will represent the BMW MINIs, the fastest championship of Minis new and old in Britain. Mini Se7en returns once again with its rapid modified Minis, 48 years since they debuted at Brands Hatch in 1966.

The powerful Mini Miglias, all 125mph and 1293cc of them, the even more powerful 1.2-litre Super Mighty Minis and the historic Sanwa Trophy will also entertain fans of Mini motorsport.

*Every Mini owner will receive free admission if they arrive at Brands Hatch in their Mini, and passengers can save on admission too.

Three bands will provide the soundtrack to the Brands Hatch Mini Festival on Sunday 11 May, all inspired by bands from the Mini heyday, the sixties.

Theatre Royal cite the likes of The Kinks and The Beatles as influences on their catchy pop sound, and the band can list Steve Lamacq of BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music as part of their fan club. Influential magazine Artrocker gave their album five out of five, and you can see what the fuss is all about during the Mini Festival on Sunday 11 May.

Stuart Turner and the Flat Earth Society and The Galileo 7 will also be performing during the festival, the latter with a heavy ’60s lean and a self-confessed mod-rock band.
